Log Your Community Service Hours & Find Serving Opportunities

Tree of Life Christian Schools inspires students to serve others for the cause of Christ through giving their time and talents to others in His name. Following the model of Acts 1:8, students serve as a witness of Christ’s love in their Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria, and the ends of the earth.

Students should annually log community service hours in Renweb to satisfy the 20-hour per year service requirement. Each set of 20 hours should be completed during the school year for a particular grade. Summer service hours can count for either year, banking forward for the next year or counting backward for the year past. Seniors may consider completing the final year of service hours in the summer before the senior year begins. Freshman through juniors who have not completed 20 hours before the new year begins will make-up hours of service through the school office during study hall or after-school times. Seniors will be required to complete the 20 hours of service before graduation. The goal is to complete 20 hours each year…not 80 hours in one year.

  • For the last decade, Beechwold Christian Church has partnered with Help Build Hope to help a local family in need.

Since 1999, the Help Build Hope program has produced over 1,000 homes. That means over 1,000 families are in homes they can afford because of the generosity of people like you! That is truly amazing!

Beechwold is currently seeking volunteers on Saturday, October 12, 2019 to help build a home for a local family. Family participation is encouraged, or individuals aged 10 and up.

This event will take place at Beechwold Christian Church, 280 Morse Road, Columbus, Ohio 43214 in the parking lot behind the church.

    The schedule would be:
8:30 Continental Breakfast (provided) & Instruction
    9:00-12:00 Construction of the Home
12:00 Lunch (provided) There is no OSU football game this day so you wouldn’t even miss part of the game.

If you can help, please sign up through their link at https://www.helpbuildhope.com/beechwoldcc so we have enough food and can count on you as one of our gracious volunteers.

    Thank you for your participation!
