Personnel and Program Expansions at Tree Of Life

Dear Tree of Life Family,

It is with great enthusiasm we share this memo regarding personnel adjustments within our Tree of Life team in order to enhance support for students. We are grateful to God as we see His blessing in assembling so many wonderful faculty and staff each year.

The needs of our students and families shift over time and so do our means of support with student services. We are happy to announce the implementation of a dedicated Lifecare team for the 2019-2020 school year led by Mrs. Liz Gordon. This department will focus on coaching and support for student wellness. Andy Cousens, Becky Stechschulte, and Anthony Redic will create space in their job descriptions to join this team and develop quality strategies to meet student emotional and mental health needs. We are pleased for this team to provide support for all of the Tree of Life campuses in the area of student wellness.

With an eye on the increased need for enrollment and admissions support, Heather Shah will transition into the admissions department to work alongside Carol Tanner as the Tuition Manager. Heather has participated with excellence as the International Homestay Program Director, managing well all aspects of international student enrollment. We are pleased to announce the addition of Mrs. Terri Fraser in the role of director of the International Homestay Program. Terri comes to us from Heritage Christian Schools in Olathe, Kansas. Join us in welcoming Terri to the Tree of Life team.

The athletic department will undergo some shifts, as well. Anthony Redic will transition into the Lifecare department and Stephanie Forbes into a faculty position in the middle school and high school. Ben Patrick will remain in the athletic department and we look to God’s provision of a new hire to join him.

Mary Bondurant will join the Tree of Life team with a sole focus of academic and college guidance services for our students. She has been assisting in this role on a part-time basis and will now move into a full-time position providing support for student academic intervention services and college enrollment services. Mary’s 17 years of experience in education have prepared her to lead this forward for Tree of Life.  Join us in welcoming Mary to the Tree of Life team.
